An introductory and self-paced online course on road safety to help institutionalize and encourage road safety policies and programs at the local level. The course is customized for participants working at the local government units/agencies focused on all or any aspect of road safety. It is preferred that the course be taken by groups (an office or unit) at a time than individual.

Two of the major results of the project were: community mobilization and engagement and the implementation of the community-based interventions based on the expressed needs of the community members, such as the following:

  • Distributed hygiene kits/HHs to 850 HHs and to the 160 health workers of the 16 barangays of the Parañaque City;
  • Positioned 40 pcs yellow trash bins in strategic locations in the community to have that enabling environment to help people dispose properly COVID-19 related wastes
  • Set-up telehealth services in the selected three barangays
  • Facilitators’ and Interviewers’ Orientation in conducting FGDs and KIIs
  • Rapid Baseline Assessment Report on Knowledge, Attitude & Practices of Filipinos on COVID-19 and its Vaccines
